About Me

My research is focused on characterizing epigenetic states in aging and disease pathogenesis. Particularly, I am interested in understanding relationships between lifestyle exposures, such as tobacco use and diet, and epigenetic states in the context of disease susceptibility, occurrence, and progression. By investigating complex interactions between the environment and genome, I hope to develop biomarkers with potential translational utility for diagnostic, prognostic, or treatment purposes.
