About Me

I specialize in Interventional Spine and Chronic Pain Medicine and serve as the Medical Director of the Pain Center - Premier location in High Point, NC. I strive to connect with patients and empower patients to take control of their pain. I am known for my creativity, energy and ability to educate patients so they may understand their condition. I also strive to utilize a multi-modal, non-opioid approach to reducing pain while incorporating the latest minimally invasive technology for interventional treatment. I have a strong interest in spinal cord stimulation, enhancement of procedural techniques for radiofrequency ablation, and fellow education.

I grew up in rural southern Virginia and went to medical school at EVMS in Norfolk, VA where I met my wife. After completing residency in Anesthesiology in beautiful Charleston, SC at MUSC, I subsequently completed two fellowships in Interventional Spine and Chronic Pain at Carolinas Pain Institute followed by a Chronic Pain Medicine fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Health. My wife and I enjoy spending our spare time around Greensboro with our two dogs.
