About Me

I have 35 years of experience in developmental-behavioral practice at Wake Forest School of Medicine. My primary interest is clinical care and ongoing management of children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide variety of relevant diagnoses; primarily developmental delay/intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, but also including all other developmental disabilities. A unique aspect of my clinical expertise is medication management for associated behavioral health/mental health disorders in individuals with developmental disorders. I am very involved in educational activities for medical students, residents, and other trainees. My scholarly background includes collaborative research and publication activity, as well as service to local, state, and national organizations.
