I am a board-certified, orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, cartilage restoration, knee ligament reconstruction surgery, patellofemoral instability, patella maltracking, and pediatric knee injuries. Following medical school at the University of Michigan, I completed my orthopaedic residency at the University of Rochester and sports medicine fellowship at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, GA. I have a long history of participating in sideline coverage of athletic events and in helping athletes return to full sport participation after injury. In addition, I have extensive experience in basic science research in cartilage and meniscus biology and how it relates to osteoarthritis and injury response. I truly enjoy taking care of my patients and being part of the Winston-Salem area community.
