The Student National Medical Association is hosting Art for a Cure, a silent auction benefiting Parenting PATH, a local agency working to prevent child abuse. Art for a Cure will be held in the first floor atrium of the Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 8 pm. Many mediums of art will be represented in the silent auction, includingflyer promoting Art for a Cure fundraiser by the Student National Medical Association

Parenting PATH was founded in 1981 and is based in Winston-Salem. This amazing organization provides programs to help alleviate child abuse and provides community health resources such as Welcome Baby programs and counseling. We are honored to work closely with Parenting PATH on this event and invite you to learn more about their programming at their website.

SNMA seeks any and all art donations! This can be anything – paintings, photographs, ceramic pieces and even knitted items. Please contact sid@wakehealth.edu by October 11th if you would like to contribute a piece. Donations are tax-deductible. 

Tickets prices are:

  • SNMA members: $10
  • All other students: $15
  • Faculty, staff and guests: $20

Those who purchase tickets before the event will receive a drink voucher, and there will be hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
