About Me

Cole was born and raised in the great state of Georgia, graduating with degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology and history from the University of Georgia in 2012 (Go Dawgs!). Prior to medical school, he took some much-needed time away from the classroom to work in fundraising for CURE International before transitioning to work for an underserved primary care clinic called MercyMed. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a dual medical and business degree in 2019. His interests in family medicine include optimizing healthcare delivery systems, especially to poor and underserved communities, cultivating the physician-patient relationship in medicine, and global healthcare missions. His wife, Jacline, is also a native Georgian and a resident physician at Wake Forest in otolaryngology. Cole is an avid runner and most days you’ll find him on the streets of Ardmore or by Salem Lake putting in miles. Jacline and Cole attend church at Hope Presbyterian in town and love their church family and try to spend as much time as possible outside in beautiful North Carolina.
