About Me

Aravindh (pronounced uh-ra-vihnd): I am originally from Texas, the Lone Star State. There I attended Texas A&M University (Gig 'Em!), where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in a double major of biochemistry and genetics. Afterwards, I attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where I received my medical degree. Now in North Carolina for general surgery residency, I have grown to appreciate the outdoors where I have rekindled my passion for hiking and exploring. In addition to spending time outdoors, I can be found traveling the surrounding area for the best food and craft beer. I am passionate about helping others and excited to give back one day, once I have completed my training, to both of my communities in Texas and North Carolina, who have lent me a hand in pursuing my career in medicine.
