About Me

My roots lie in the South Carolina Lowcountry. My early life was split between S.C. and Ohio. I attended the University of Indianapolis and obtained a degree in chemistry before returning home to complete my medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. Since starting my general surgery residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine, I have published research on complex hemodialysis access and electronic frailty measurement scores as a predictor for surgical outcomes. I plan to pursue fellowship training in vascular surgery. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling with my wife Samantha, exploring global culture and cuisine, cooking at home and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
