About Me

Undergraduate institution: Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, TN

Professional interests: I hope to work in women's health in the developing world, so will likely pursue a career as a generalist. However, I love all aspects of OB/GYN and am open to falling in love with a subspecialty as well.

Personal interests: I enjoy doing anything outdoors and have loved being close to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park and Pisgah National Forest. Closer to home, Salem Lake is a nice place to run or bike, and Pilot Mountain has some lovely hikes with great views.

Favorite thing about Wake Forest OBGYN Residency: Since coming to Wake Forest, I have been overwhelmed by how willing and excited our attendings are to teach us. They truly want us to be the best OB/GYNs we can be, and they take time to help us improve our skills and increase our knowledge base.
