About Me

The research goal of my lab is to understand the role of the genome and epigenome in modulating brain function in healthy and diseased states. Of particular interest in my lab is the study of the interaction between environmental stressors, such as drugs of abuse or diet and the genome. My lab uses a multispecies approach, including rodents, nonhuman and human primates, and we combine molecular and cellular biology tools with animal behavior to better understand the impact of our (epi)genome in genomic regulation, in cellular function and animal behavior.
