It’s only four years, but it’s the four most important years of your career.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist has tremendous passion to create a supportive environment where the transition from medical school graduate to proficient specialist in obstetrics and gynecology occurs. Over a unique four-year time period, where the days may be long but the years are short, residents gain confidence, competence and lifelong learning skills to support whatever path they may choose in the field.

The careers of our graduates are tremendously diverse, but their educational foundation is the same:

Knowledge  Curiosity
Skill Passion
Understanding Advocacy for women’s health

If you leave residency with these things, you are primed to reach your potential as an obstetrician-gynecologist. That is our goal, and together, we will achieve it.
