The Department of Pathology at Wake Forest School of Medicine trains one American Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited dermatopathology fellow each year.

Why Train at Wake Forest?

At Wake Forest, dermatopathology fellows have the opportunity to view a high volume of diagnostically challenging cases that encompass numerous diseases. Approximately 7,000 dermatopathology-related specimens are accessioned each year, of which the Department of Dermatology generates approximately half, and approximately 15,000 specimens are generated from private practice. Additionally, slide study sets/teaching boxes including over 10,000 slides are available for learning.
