The Section of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Immunologic Diseases embraces the education and research missions of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Fellowship programs in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Allergy and Immunology are housed in the Section. Faculty teach learners at all levels of training and lead research activities ranging from molecular mechanisms of disease to multicenter clinical trials.

The Section has excellent and robust clinical programs in critical care medicine, longitudinal and consultative pulmonary medicine, therapeutic and interventional bronchoscopy, allergy and immunology, sleep medicine and lung cancer screening.

Our group is committed to training the next generation of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Allergy physicians, educators and researchers.
