About Me

I am originally from Southern California. I did my undergraduate at UC San Diego in biology and then migrated to the Midwest in Madison, Wisconsin for medical school. I eventually matched at Wake Forest for ophthalmology and completed my preliminary Internal Medicine year at Wake Forest as well. In my free time, I like to try new food/restaurants, play tennis/badminton/racquetball/ping pong, read books, travel, take care of my plants/cats, and learn new languages. I chose ophthalmology because vision is such an important and unique tool for a person to navigate and enjoy the world around them, and I want to help improve and preserve vision for everyone. I am also interested in the many new procedures/surgeries/technological advances in the field of ophthalmology as well. I am very excited to be a part of the Wake Forest Ophthalmology team this year!
