About Me

I was born and raised in central Pennsylvania and graduated Princeton University in 2005, receiving an artium baccalaureus degree in Comparative Literature, studying French, Latin and medieval literature and history. I completed my pre-medical requirements at Bryn Mawr College in 2009.  I am a 2014 graduate of Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College) and completed my residency in internal medicine at West Virginia University in 2017. Since graduation from residency, I have held a number of roles at West Virginia University, including primary care physician, hospitalist and teaching faculty within the internal medicine residency. I reside in Morgantown, WV, with my husband Matt, daughter Astrid and our three cats. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening and reading avidly. I am delighted to be a hospice and palliative medicine fellow at Wake Forest University.
