About Me

I was born and raised in New Zealand for the first half of my childhood and have lived in northern Virginia ever since. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology from Columbia University in New York City, I returned to Virginia to do clinical research for a year before attending Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. My parents are South Korean, and I am the second oldest of four sisters. I enjoy numerous sports, including tennis and running, arts and crafts projects and learning languages.
