About Me
I was born and raised in a small town just north of Baltimore, Md. I attended Johns Hopkins University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in the history of science, medicine and technology. I met my wonderful husband, Sid, along the way. Drawn to Charlottesville, Va., I attended medical school at the University of Virginia before journeying farther south to Wake Forest University School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine School of Medicine for my general surgery residency. I root for the Washington Capitals, I'm a Peloton fanatic and a pretty good cook. My husband and I enjoy rock concerts, spending time with our cat, Shakuni, and bringing her on frequent trips home to visit our families in Maryland and Texas.
