About Me

I was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Cocoa Beach, Fla., a year later, where I spent the remainder of my childhood. I attended The George Washington University, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. I moved to North Carolina to attend Wake Forest University School of Medicine. While I love the mountains and four seasons of North Carolina, I also miss watching rockets go up over Florida’s coastline. For fun, I enjoy volleyball and anything that involves creating things with my hands, including ceramics, sewing and baking.
