The Department of Implementation Sciences will focus on three core areas of inquiry and translation:

• The use of health services research to identify opportunities for improved care delivery-prioritizing organizational, health systems, and policy gaps and solutions
• Identifying efficacious, cost-effective, and time-neutral solutions to implementing the best and most promising health care and public health practices
• Testing implementation and dissemination strategies to more efficiently and effectively translate evidence-based strategies into real world clinical and population health settings
