I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I graduated cum laude from Boise State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. I went on to medical school at the University of Utah, where I received several awards for exceptional humanism, and was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. I completed my Internal Medicine residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health, where I continued to be recognized for my compassion towards patients. Caring for older adults has always been especially meaningful to me, and I am excited to continue my training in Geriatrics at Wake Forest Baptist.
In my spare time, I share my love of the outdoors with my wonderful husband, Alex, and our big, fluffy goofball – Clifford, the dog. I enjoy backpacking, hiking, running, and tasty food.
