About Me

I was born and raised in North Carolina, spending time in Rockingham, Pinehurst, and Charlotte growing up. I received a Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science with a Pre-med concentration at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and stayed in Chapel Hill for a year after graduation working as a Medical Assistant for a local Family Practice and Urgent Care Clinic.

I attended medical school at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my clinical rotations in Norfolk, VA. Being away from North Carolina for too long, I returned to complete his Family Medicine Residency at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC, where I served as Chief Resident.

My academic interests are focused on athletics including performance, injury prevention, and recovery and enjoys sideline coverage and incorporating OMT into my treatment.

My personal interests include playing and watching sports, world travel (which I hope to resume soon), and watching/re-watching Disney and Pixar movies. I am happy to be close to his family. With my parents living in Rockingham, brother in Charlotte, and my sister and brother-in-law in Raleigh, they can frequently take turns visiting each other.
