Christina was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and received her BS degree in biology with a minor in dance from the University of Florida, Gainesville. She remained in Florida for her medical training at the University of Florida College of Medicine where she served as the FMIG president and developed a passion for primary care. Christina loves to teach and is interested in women's health/obstetrics, caring for underserved communities, global health and performing procedures. She plans to pursue a fellowship in obstetrics after residency and ultimately practice in academic medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys being with family and friends and getting outdoors. Her hobbies include cooking new recipes, exploring local restaurants and wineries, music, dancing and anything involving the ocean.
