About Me

Dr. Howard is a clinical associate professor of radiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

He is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a special competence in vascular and interventional radiology. In his clinical practice, he focuses on breast diseases, including abscesses, mastitis, bone cancers and chronic venous occlusions.

Procedures he performs include abscess drainage and management, chemoembolization, kyphoplasty, angioplasty and stenting, bone and soft tissue biopsies with CT guidance and fluid aspirations with ultrasound and thrombolysis.

His research interests include the development of innovative medical devices, vascular devices and breast biopsy deployment devices and markers.

Dr. Howard completed his undergraduate studies at Howard University and received his medical degree at East Carolina University. He completed residency in radiology and a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
