About Me

I am a clinical psychology postdoctoral fellow with concentrations in weight management as well as diabetes and endocrinology. I received my PhD in clinical psychology from West Virginia University in 2019. Broadly, I am interested in understanding the factors that influence how people make decisions and judgments. In my primary line of research, I study the effects of mindfulness on the reduction of negativity bias and the implications of less negativity bias on mental health and well-being.
