Security Services strives to provide a safe and secure environment, at all times, for our students, patients, visitors, and employees while modeling Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist values. Security Services operates 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

Identification

Your Wake Forest Baptist badge is issued at orientation and should be worn at all times while at Innovation Quarter, in the Medical Center or in other affiliated hospitals, offices and clinics. Once activated, it is used for identification purposes and for activities at Wake Forest University. It will also give access to the school of medicine library services.

The Badge Office typically sets up temporarily in Innovation Quarter for large group issuances. Students who lose their badges will have to purchase replacements at the Badge Office on the Winston-Salem Campus (Ambulatory Services Building, between Meads Hall and Reynolds Tower).

Escorts

Although our security teams works hard to keep the Winston-Salem Campus and Innovation Quarter safe, there may be times where you'd feel more secure if you had a security escort. We offer complimentary escorts for patients, visitors, students and employees. Wherever you are on campus, just call us and an officer will meet you and walk you to your on-campus destination, day or night.

In Innovation Quarter, call 336-713-1568. On the Winston-Salem Campus, call 336-716-3305.

Lost and Found

The Winston-Salem Campus maintains a lost and found storage area. Some items that are frequently turned in include: cash, ID badges, keys, glasses and jewelry. If you have lost an item, give us a call at 336-716-3305.

In Innovation Quarter, please check with one of the security desks near building entrances or the Sunstates Security office on the main floor of Biotech Place, south of the atrium and near Café Brioche Doreé.
